Meet Amit

What is your role and what do you do at your company?

I’m Amit Patel and as director at Count Creation, a digital design studio delivering visual brand and graphic design, I manage the day-to-day operations and get involved with client care.

We work with businesses and organisations during pivotal moments of their journey, whether it’s starting up, growing, or transforming. We develop brand strategy and brand identity which then goes on to communicate through printed materials, websites and experiences.

With a remote team I coordinate our projects and make sure we are on track to deliver for the people we work with. Through the power of design, we help to drive transformative results.

What does a typical day at work look like for you?

My mornings often start with some marketing activities and connecting with people across social media. Then, it’s about spending time on current client requirements and planning. Following that, I’d coordinate activities for the team and manage client timelines for their current design needs. In between there are often a few ZOOM calls scheduled!

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

It’s fantastic to see the change and confidence within people, businesses and their teams when we create or launch a new design project for them.

How often do you work from Adapt by Arc?

Two days a week.

What’s your favourite thing about coworking?

It provides flexibility and opportunities to meet other businesses, opening the door for collaboration. I’ve made some great connections here.

What do you enjoy about working at Adapt by Arc and Uxbridge Business Park?

It’s an inviting, modern space with great facilities that’s well-located, easy to get to and perfect for client meetings. Also, Farrah and the management team are always on hand to answer any questions and help in any way they can. There are regular community events, lunches, and networking sessions as well. It is a productive space. With the fast internet and printing available, it makes it easy to get things done.

How do you commute to Adapt by Arc?

It’s possible to walk, but I often drive as there’s plenty of onsite parking available.

How do you keep yourself motivated and productive?

I like to understand the latest news in technology whether it’s hardware or software related. It’s interesting to understand how we can use these technologies to create better opportunities to design and create awareness for clients and what they do. I often use Notion, Trello and the Adobe Creative Suite to get the job done!

What’s your go-to podcast recommendation?

The Futur with Chris Do which is a weekly podcast exploring the interesting overlap between design, marketing, and business.
